Antique English Solid / Sterling Pill Box - 1901

Description

A wonderful little pill box made from English solid / sterling silver with a fully English hallmark for Birmingham 1901 together with the makers mark for Synyer & Beddoes (Harry Synyer & Charles Joseph Beddoes).

The circular box beautifully decorated with an all-over repousse design with a vacant cartouche in the centre of the domed lid. The side of the box has a ring which over 100 years ago could have been used on a silver chatelaine. The hinged lid fits well and is secure.

Excellent condition measuring 1 5/8" in diameter x 3/4".
