Description

S.Clarke’s Patent Fairy Pyramid, and shade, c. 1895. The candle holding pottery base manufactured by Taylor, Tunnicliffe & Company, and painted with roses, beneath a crenellated rim.

Having an original cased pink glass shade, probably made by Steven’s and William’s.

Printed factory mark to the base. Pattern number 1513 in iron red enamel.

Overall height – 9 cm, 3 1/2”.

Diameter – 10.3 cm, 4 1/8”.

Condition – Chip to one crenellation. No restoration.
