This is an impressive 78 piece Canteen – Old English Pattern (12 place settings) - Hallmark: London 1950 by C J Vander – Weight: 6055 grams (194 tr.oz.) -
 
The Coburg pattern was first produced in around 1810 by London''s great silversmith Paul Storr, of Rundell, Bridge & Rundell. This rich and dignified Regency design combines shells, scrolls and scales and has always been a very favoured pattern due to its elegant and simple form. It has been produced continually to the present day with a resurgence of popularity in the 20th Century.
