Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. In fact, since our founding in 2002, Sellingantiques has only had to step in to help resolve an issue on roughly five occasions—a true testament to the quality of our dealers and their dedication to your happiness.
Our dealers are highly experienced in packing and shipping fragile, high-value antiques. Because you are in direct contact with the dealer, you will be able to easily go through all available shipping and insurance options together to ensure your item arrives safely.

Edwardian jewellery is characterised by delicate craftsmanship, light and airy designs often inspired by garlands and ribbons, and a heavy use of platinum and silver set with diamonds, pearls, and coloured stones.

Craftspeople of this era frequently employed sterling silver, low-carat golds, and platinum-topped gold, often combining precious metals with paste stones, coloured glass, or genuine gemstones like amethysts and pearls.

Authentic pieces typically feature the makers distinctive CH hallmark stamp, alongside sterling silver assay office marks and date letters corresponding to the late Victorian and Edwardian periods.

These versatile accessories can be pinned to lapels, coat collars, silk scarves, or the centre of a neckline to add a touch of historical detail to contemporary outfits.

Store silver pieces in a dry, tarnish-resistant pouch away from direct sunlight, and clean them gently with a soft microfibre cloth, avoiding harsh chemical dips that can damage delicate settings and glass stones.
