Victorian Gold Bohemian Garnet Halo Earrings

Stunning 19th century earrings showcasing beautiful deep blood red garnets, foiled to accentuate their glowing colour. The earring settings are tombac, a traditional alloy, with solid nine-carat gold wires.

• Condition: The earrings are in excellent antique condition. The wires have been soldered on at a later date, the garnets likely started out in life as fancy buttons.

• Fixing: Integral nine-carat gold ear wires, supplied with tiny silicone "keepers" which can be fixed on the ends for extra security.

• Era: Victorian (1837-1901).

• Size: 1.7 x 2cm including the wires.
