Description

A vintage engagement ring that is both immense and immensely beautiful. The old mine cut diamond in the centre - certified by IGI as J colour, VVS2 clarity - is glowingly bright, internally clean and delightfully imperfect in shape. The stone is secured in an eight-claw platinum collet with stylised heart detailing in the gallery. Three baguette cut diamonds in each shoulder of reverse graduating sizes step down to a slim platinum shank.

Accompanied by a diamond report from IGI.

Cut:?Old mine cut, with baguette cuts in the shoulders.

Colour: The centre is J. The sides are H to I.

Clarity: The centre is VVS2. The sides range from VS2 to SI1; all are eye-clean.

Carat: The centre is 3.13 carat, with a further approximate 0.60 carat in the shoulders.

Circa: 1925.

Size: M (UK) or 6 (US). Free sizing available.

Measurements: The diamond is 8.78 x 8.66mm and sits 8.3mm from the finger.

Weight: 5.07 grams.

Metal: Stamped PLAT indicating platinum, and tested with a Niton DXL Precious Metal Analyzer to confirm.
