Solid Silver Canteen of Cutlery. 115 Pieces.

1920 - 1940
Description

Fine quality and condition 115 piece SOLID STERLING SILVER canteen of cutlery made and sold by Whytock & Sons of Dundee. All the silver cutlery is by Viners of Sheffield apart from the large ladle which is by Viners of London. All the silver is fully hallmarked. The original standing box is made from solid mahogany with a blue velvet interior and still retains all of its original labels inside. All the cutlery is original and is all hallmarked the same for SHEFFIELD 1935 with the maker of Viners of Sheffield apart from the large ladle which is hallmarked for LONDON 1928 but also Viners. All the knives have composite white handles with the steel blades all marked Whytock & Sons of Dundee. Every piece is in basically mint condition. It doesn't look like it has been used much at all. Hopefully the pictures say it all !!!!

The silver cutlery is all heavy duty and beautifully made.

The combined weight of all the silver is around 4850g / 171oz

Please note knife handles are NOT ivory but a composite ivorine.
