This antique 9ct Gold heart padlock pendant is just beautiful! Made entirely from solid 9ct Gold, you can easily add this piece to a chain, bracelet, or split ring for the perfect antique finish.
 
During the Edwardian period, padlocks were worn on bracelets by women whose significant others were leaving for an extended period of time. The bracelet would be locked onto the woman’s wrist by the padlock charm, to which only her beloved would have the key- he would then open it upon his return.
 
The padlock is in excellent working order and would look great on a chain or bracelet.
