Antique Victorian Sterling Silver 'Birds' Christening Mug 1860

Description

This is a superb antique sterling silver christening mug/tankard measuring 3 1/2" (9 cms) tall x 2 1/2 (6 cms) across the top.

It's hallmarked for Sheffield 1860with the silversmiths mark for Martin, Hall & Co.

The mug is decorated with birds - one drinking from a birdbath - which are beautiful.

The whole item is in excellent condition (any marks you can see are just reflections) and is gilded inside.

There are no initials or monograms and it weighs 116 grams/3.7 troy oz.

This mug will come in a gift box with a certificate of authenticity.
