Victorian Antique Silver Inkstand by Robert Garrard London 1878

Description

An excellent quality Victorian antique silver desk inkwell with a glass liner. Made in London in 1878 by the famous silversmith Robert Garrard who's company held several Royal Warrants. The inkwell has a beautiful butterfly finial and full hallmarks underneath and on the lid. The rims are decorated with acanthus leaves and has cast shell designs on each end. It is a high quality piece of beautifully made silver. The inkwell is in first class condition with no damage or repairs.

WEIGHT; 425 grams or 14 ozst approx.
