Here we have a truly outstanding piece of Victorian cabinet making. This outstanding Victorian Burr Walnut chest of drawers dates to c1850 and is of the finest quality throughout. There is a well figured top with a beautiful stepped pediment edge. There is a desirable configuration of two over three drawers. All the drawers have their original turned wooden handles and hand cut dovetail joints. The drawers are all Mahogany lined even the bases and have internal dust beads. The burr Walnut finish is the best we have seen and the sides are solid Walnut. A fine quality chest with heaps of storage space. The chest is in retail condition and ready for your home. The dimensions are approx 125 cm wide 125 cm high 59 cm deep.
