You are viewing a gorgeous monumental carved Victorian library bookcase of breakfront form

The bookcase is circa 1870 and was sourced from Miskin Manor - a Stately home in South Wales (please scroll through for photos of this originally in situ)

The scale of this important piece is phenomenal and the top part comes in 4 sections.

The Base comes in 4 sections, also comes with Original Keys

The carving - believed to be craftsman from the Warwick School - is so well executed as hopefully the photos illustrate

Features include elaborate panels with floral motifs, dogs heads, grotesque masks, rosettes, male caryatids and an eagle motif to centre top

It really is a detailed and quality work of art we are excited to bring to market
