Strictly Vetted Dealers

Every single antique dealer on our platform is individually approved by our internal team. We verify their professional trade history, ethical standards, and photographic quality to ensure a secure, high-standard buying environment. Upon joining, every dealer agrees to a strict 9-point code of conduct. While issues can occasionally arise, our dealers typically resolve them swiftly and directly with the buyer. Secure Transit

FAQs

Silver should be cleaned infrequently using a specialized non-abrasive silver polish and a soft cloth to preserve the patina and details, avoiding harsh chemical dips.

Such items work well displayed within glass-fronted cabinets, mounted in shadow boxes, or utilized functionally within a tablescape to add metallic sheen and historical depth.

Authentic pieces bear manufacturer hallmarks, sterling purity stamps, and often patent numbers or pattern identifiers, alongside appropriate weight and natural patina consistent with age.

These pieces are typically crafted from solid sterling silver, often featuring hand-pierced bowls, chased details, and intricate casting characteristic of Victorian silversmithing.

Sugar sifter spoons gained popularity during the 18th and 19th centuries with the rise of tea and dessert culture, specifically designed to sprinkle loose sugar over pastries, fruits, and beverages.
