An impressive large Victorian sterling silver three pint lidded tankard with a plain tapering cylindrical body without any inscriptions. Flat domed hinged lid, engraved with the Goodden family crest, a cast shell and scroll thumbpiece, scroll handle with a heart shaped motif and stands on a wide reeded flaring collet base. Very good original condition except a tiny bruise on the handle as shown.
