Antique 18th Century Oak Coffer

A well-presented 18th century antique oak coffer, featuring a hinged lid that opens to reveal a generous interior complete with a candle box to one side. The front is detailed with traditional panelled work, adding character and visual interest. It stands on four shaped stile feet, providing both stability and a touch of elegance. A pleasing and functional piece, with a rich colour and an attractive patina that reflects its age and history.

CONDITION REPORT:

In good antique condition overall, with expected signs of age and use. There is surface wear throughout, including age-related marks and scratches. The top shows some splitting, along with areas of loss and a few small holes. There is also minor loss to one corner. Despite these imperfections, the piece remains structurally sound and full of character.
