A 19th Century Tiffany & Co. Silver Gilt Ice Cream Spoon

A lovely silver gilt silver ice cream spoon, dating from the late 19th Century and by the great name of Tiffany & Co. This superb example is fully cast and has a gilded bowl. The spoon is in the sought after 'chrysanthemum' pattern, featuring flowers, leaves and a cartouche engraved 'AEC'. To the reverse the pattern is repeated, extending over the base. As one would expect from this superior maker, the spoon is of excellent gauge silver and good quality. An eye catching and collectible piece. Dimensions below.

Condition :- Excellent, with no breaks, losses or repairs. There is some softening to the gilding, commensurate with age and use.
