Six Cased French Sterling Silver Gilt Grapefruit Citrus Spoons C1850 Antique

Description

A beautiful top quality set of six cased French antique solid sterling silver gilt grapefruit or citrus spoons. They are all hallmarked with the 950 Minerva head mark along with the makers mark being NV for Nicolas Vautrin who operated 144-1962. I would date them to c1850s. They have been beautifully designed and are in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs. They measure approx. 5.75 inches (14.6cm) long by 1 inch (2.6cm) wide and have a combined weight of 98 grams excluding the case. Superbly designed examples.
