French Pair 18thC Wrought Iron Wall Sconce Torcheres converted to electric 90cm.

An exquisite pair of 18th century, hand forged iron wall mounted torcheres, later adapted to electric wall lights or sconces.

Originally discovered from a French chateau, the 90cm tall torcheres feature magnificent hand forged and chased wall plates which support the pine poles, decorated in a sumptuous pink velvet, woven fabric, possibly original or fitted circa 19th century.

A superbly stylish and rare pair of wall lights with an impressive historic appeal and practical function. An interior design pair of considerable decorative that can enhance a classic or contemporary space.
