A desirable late Victorian/Edwardian square locket with a fantastic radiating star design on the front, set with a twinkling rose cut diamond.

SIZE: 1.8 x 1.8cm, 0.5cm thick.

WEIGHT: 5.8g.

MATERIALS: Nine-carat (375) gold back and front.

HALLMARKS/STAMPS: None found, the locket has been tested and the front and back are solid gold throughout (at least nine-carat, possibly better, on a metal frame.

CONDITION: In excellent antique condition with the hinge and clasp in good working order.

ERA: Late Victorian/Edwardian (c.late 1800s-1914).
