Pretty Antique Victorian 18ct Gold Ruby Diamond Gypsy Ring. In the centre is a bright 2mmx 2mm old cut diamond in a star setting. There are two excellent coloured old cut Rubies measuring approx 2.8mm x 2.8mm either side of the diamond also in star settings. A fantastic example of a quality Victorian gypsy ring with lovely decoration to the gold around the stones. A simple and timeless ring which is suitable for everyday wear and which has a good strong 18ct gold band which is very wide and strong all the way around. Band width is 6mm at widest and 4mm at lowest. The ring has a good weight to it and has no hallmarks but has been tested and most certainly dates to the late Victorian era. One ruby is ever so slightly darker the other. The ring is in excellent condition for its age with some minor wear to the gold commensurate with age.
