Superb Large 198g English Solid Sterling Silver Mustard Pot 1955 Heavy

Description

A beautiful large impressive English solid sterling silver blue glass lined mustard pot. It is hallmarked for Sheffield 1955 with the maker being Mappin & Webb. It has been beautifully made being classically designed. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, the liner is free from chips cracks and repairs. It measures approx. 3.75 inches (9.6cm) across including the handle by 2.5 inches (6.3cm) excluding it by 2 inches (5.1cm) tall to the top of the handle and weighs 198 grams including the liner and 158 grams excluding it. A very impressive example.

The Silver Squirrel has dated this piece to the 1950s.
