Antique 17th Century James 11 Oak Coffer Sword Box C1680 W6368/11.4

Description

Antique 17th century oak sword box or coffer and dating from aorund the time of the restoration period james 11 c1680. This box has an abundance of history charm and character within its patination and having its original plank top which has a slight 'smile' to one end but adding to its charm and above four moulded panels to the front on original stiles. It is hand & peg joined and has its original plank base and two plank rough pit sawn back.

Measures: 24" high X 17" deep X 60" wide

In very good condition and with a lovely deep colour and patination to the oak oozing the charm and history of the restoration period.
