Antiques are the ultimate green purchase. By choosing historical pieces over newly manufactured goods, you completely eliminate the carbon footprint of modern mass production while preserving exceptional, timeless craftsmanship.

Edwardian cluster rings, produced between 1901 and 1910, typically feature a central coloured gemstone surrounded by a halo of diamonds. This style emphasizes intricate metalwork, claw settings, and classic proportions popular during the reign of King Edward VII.

Rings from this era frequently feature central gemstones such as Ceylon sapphires set alongside halo diamonds. Mounts were commonly constructed from yellow gold, platinum, or a combination of platinum top over a gold band.

Authentic Edwardian pieces often showcase hand-cut gemstones, claw or millegrain edge details, and period hallmarks on the interior band. The presence of distinct setting techniques and hand-carved undergalleries further indicates historical construction.

An antique cluster ring serves as a focal statement piece suitable for formal occasions or daily wear as an alternative engagement ring. It pairs seamlessly with contemporary fine jewellery or stacked alongside plain gold bands.

Clean the ring gently using warm water, mild soap, and a soft-bristled brush to clear dust under the settings. Avoid harsh chemicals, and store the piece in a fabric-lined box to prevent surface abrasion.
