A Georgian 5 Plank Oak Coffer

The chest is made in solid Oak, the top has a scalloped almng its edges with a small sctatch carved decoration at each side

The Front of the Coffer has had some alterations during its lifetime, it has staple hinges and a blacksmith made escutcheon, there is a candle box inside

This is a very old piece it has a good colour and is in satisfactory condition for its years

The coffer is 34” long, 16” deep and 19” high
