A lovely vintage 14ct Gold Unusually Shaped Opal Pendant Necklace, the pendant is marked 14ct gold and the chain is marked 9ct gold. The pendant is stunning quality. The gold has been shaped around this incredibly coloured opal, with vivid greens, blues and yellows, from certain angles the opal looks to have a fiery orange or red hue, a truly galaxy coloured opal. The opal is encapsulated in 14ct yellow gold superbly allowing the lovely stone to take priority. The pendant is presented on a 9ct gold 18"/45cm chain. The pendant measures 1.9cm long (inc. bale) x 0.6cm wide and weighs 2.1 grams. The item is presented in excellent condition.
