It is in good condition for its age. It is strong and sturdy and generally clean and tidy inside. There are signs of use and age, some general knocks and marks and small losses and wear to the paint here and there but nothing untoward or detrimental. There are some signs of historic worm in the base which has all been treated as a precaution. The box has been cleaned and gently polished and is ready for use.
