Description

A rare and beautiful large English antique solid sterling silver chalice. It is hallmarked for Chester 1909 with the maker being George Nathan & Ridley Hayes, retailed by Dobsons of Piccadilly London. It has been superbly handmade in a Medieval style and is in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs, possibly once completed gilded (base underside still gilded) - but this is nothing of note. It measures approx. 4.25 inches (10.5cm) tall by 4.5 inches (11.3cm) across the rim and weighs 355 grams. A very good quality beautiful piece.
