Royal Navy 3rd Destroyer Flotilla Sterling Silver Oar Letter Opener 1932 Naval

Description

A very interesting solid sterling silver letter opener. It is unmarked but tests as high grade silver. It has been engraved 3rd DF 1932 Young Seamen. The 3rg Destroyer Flotilla was in the Med at this time hence the oar most likely not being hallmarked. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. It measures approx. 6 inches (15.3cm) long and weighs 13 grams. A very interesting piece.
