Antique George V Sterling Silver 'Bird' Christening Mug 1911

1900 - 1920
Description

This is a super antique sterling silver christening mug/tankard measuring 2 3/4" (7 cms) tall x 2 1/4" (6 cms) across the top.

It's hallmarked for Sheffield 1911 with the silversmiths mark for Walker & Hall and it also shows the Walker & Hall mark underneath the mug.

The mug is decorated around the body with a bird sitting on a branch and butterflies on either side.

The whole item is in excellent condition (any marks you can see are just reflections) and is gilded inside.

There are no initials or monograms and it weighs 118.4 grams/3.8 troy oz.

This mug will come in a gift box with a certificate of authenticity.
