A large figured camphor wood late 19th. Century campaign travelling trunk with protective brass straps, corners, escutcheon plate and copper edging. The lid lifts to a storage area and each end has brass carrying handles. The trunk benefits from dovetailed joints and is an ideal size to be used as a coffee table. Condition- very good with old repair to top. Dimensions:- Height…18’’/ 46cm. Width..40''/ 101cm. Depth…19.25''/ 49cm. Delivery to most of U.K. £50
