A good and weighty large Victorian solid silver snuff box. The borders with raised foliate and scroll detail and engine turned throughout. The front cover opens

to reveal reveal original gilded interior. Original inscription to the front Presented by Sir Watkin Williams-Wynn, 6th Baronet (1820 - 1885) to David Davies, the best swordsman in Captain John Dugdales Troop 1863.

Fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1862 by Henry Hyde Aston.

In superb condition throughout. Good weight at 114 grams
