Constructed from quality mahogany batant it has a serpentine shaped top with moulded edge and with carved cartouche to the centre and urn shaped finials to each end. This is above a deep frieze and frieze drawer. It has a shaped panelled fall front which opens to reveal a superb interior consisting of a long frieze drawer over a central small cupboard door and flanked on either side by assorted cushioned drawers and pigeon holes. To the base there are three long pine lined drawers all with mahogany escutcheons. It is raised on a turned foot.
