Rare 240g Continental 800 Solid Silver Spider Web Dish Bowl C1920 Pierced

Description

A rare superbly designed Continental solid silver dish or bowl. It is hallmarked with the 800 standard mark. I would date it to c1920s. It has been superbly designed with the sides pierced in the form of spider webs and an engraved spider to the middle of each web. It is in superb condition being free from dings holes and repairs, a single tiny split see final photo. It measures approx. 8 inches (20.4cm) across by 2 inches (5.1cm) tall and weighs 240 grams. A very rare piece.
