The Fancy Fox has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
A central raised oval cartouche is unengraved. The base has full hallmarks for Sheffield 1907, maker initials for Atkin Brothers (Harry Atkin) and the inkwell lids have corresponding partial marks.

It measures 25.5cm (10") long and 10cm (4") wide, 4.5cm (1 3/4") high stand alone and 7.5cm (3") with the wells in. The wells themselves measure 7.3cm (2 7/8") high and 6.5cm (2 1/2") wide. Total weight is 416g, stand weight 169g/5.4ozt.
Condition is excellent with no damage, repair and minor handling wear. The hallmarks on the base are very slightly rubbed and there is a little ink staining to the underside of one of the wells.
