The Silver Squirrel has dated this piece to the 1910s.
It has been beautifully designed and has been engraved to the tea pot with a crest the crest for the Rogers family and the stand also with the crest and an inscription that reads 'Presented to Harry Rogers, Esq. as a token of esteem & gratitude by the grand daughters of Sir George Forster, Baronet, Coolderry Co. Monagran whose estates were in his care from 1870 until purchased by the Government in 1914'. I believe Sir George Foster was an Irish MP and important person in his time, the crest is that of the Rogers Family. It is in superb condition. The silver is free from dings splits and repairs (other then a faint push to the lower back so not really visible see final photo), the handle is also perfect, the inside clean. The stand is perfect. The tea pot measures 11.25 inches (28.5cm) across spout to handle by 4 inches (10cm) wide by 5.5 inches (14cm) tall and the stand 6.75 inches 17cm) across by over 5 inches (13cm) wide by almost 1 inch (2.8cm) tall and combined weighs 828 grams. A very interesting set.
