Good Old Sheffield Plate Tea Pot on Stand C1820

19th century
Description

This beautiful tea pot is made of Old Sheffield Plate and comes with an associated period Old Sheffield Plated stand. With a visible internal seam and marked for a workman's mark to the base. No makers marks but the piece dates to c1820. With a beautiful floral finial, wooden handle and reeded edge detailing.

In good condition with slight copper bleed to the raised edges, especially to the lid. A couple of minor knocks to the body.

Total Weight approx 928g.

Span approx 28cm.

Height approx 16cm.

Diameter of stand approx 14cm.
