Beautiful English Solid Sterling Silver Cigar Case 1901 Antique 174g Roses

Description

A superb good sized high quality English antique solid sterling silver cigar case. It is hallmarked for Birmingham 1901 with the maker being Samuel M Levi. It has been beautifully made being engraved with a scroll design and ferns and roses with the cartouche engraved with initials DE. It is in superb condition being free from dings splits and repairs, gilded inside. It measure 5 inches (12.6cm) long by 3.5 inches (8.9cm) wide by 1 inch (2.6cm) deep externally and weighs 174 grams. A super quality example.

The Silver Squirrel has dated this piece to the Edwardian era.
