A 19thC mid sized camphor campaign trunk. Mid sized but still suitable as a small coffee table or end of sofa lamp table. Brass cappings, corner strapping and side carrying handles. Brass lid cartouche and lock escutcheon. Flush brass military style lid pull.

WORKING LOCK & KEY. Clean interior with a strong camphor smell. Camphor is well known for fending off insects and moths from clothing. As to be expected there is evidence of rough handling on and off transportation but this trunk is generally in good condition and has excellent colour and grain.
