A very rare cased English Victorian antique solid sterling silver combination sealing wax holder and seal. It is hallmarked for London 1892 with the maker being Samuel Jacob. It has been superbly made with the lid depicting Mr Punch and the seal base engraved with the initials BJ or JB a they are entwined. It is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs. The case is also superb. It measures approx. 7.75 inches (19.6cm) long by 0.75 inch (1.6cm) wide and weighs 28 grams excluding the case. A superb rare piece.
