The Vintage Wrist Watch Company has dated this piece to the 1910s.
The watch has a Swiss stem-winding movement, signed Buren, which is working nicely.
The movement is protected by an inner metal cover which carries the patent number 6577. This relates to an English patent dated 1905, granted to J F Kendal & F Goering. It is for the reinforced dust cap which attaches to a ring around the movement. It allows the case to have a thinner back cover that is given support by the inner dust cap.
The watch measures 49mm diameter excluding the winding stem and the loop.
The case has some fairly light unevenness, nothing too detrimental.

The glass lens is in good condition.
The dial is in lovely condition. Special half hunter hour hand so that the time can be read when the front cover is closed.
The watch comes in a new presentation box.
