Martin Murray Antiques has dated this piece to the 17th Century.
The original stile feet appear to have lost no height and one original lock is present. The handles are later period correct replacements and are of a generous size. It has a good rich colour and fine patina. The drawers run well and the piece is in good serviceable condition.
