The edges of the medal are scolled and foliate with pierced sections and floral motifs in yellow gold. The reverse is engraved with the name 'Berthe-Miram' and the date '14 Mai 1902'. Stamped with the eagle’s head for French manufacture and 18 karat gold and an unknown maker's mark.
