Striking Victorian Mahogany Antique Bookcase

This Striking 19th Century, Victorian Mahogany Antique Bookcase dates from ca. 1870. It has a moulded cornice above two glazed doors with fine carvings. The interior has four shelves. The lower section has a moulded top above a frieze drawer and two cupboard doors with moulded edges. The interior has one shelf. This fine antique bookcase stands on a moulded plinth and it splits into two sections for easy removal. It comes with wonderful, charm, character and the Mahogany has aged to a warm rich shade with a striking grain, good patina, is in good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of antique furniture wax finishing.
