Quality 183g Large Hanau Dutch Sterling Silver Table Box Victorian Antique

1900 - 1920
Description

A beautiful German Hanau or possibly Dutch solid sterling silver table box. It is hallmarked with German Hanau or Dutch pseudo marks and tests as sterling silver. I would date it to c1890 - 1900. It has been superbly designed depicting a country scene. It is in super condition being free from dings splits holes and repairs, the inside is clean and gilded. It measures approx. 5.75 inches (14.7cm) long by across by 2.25 inches (6.4cm) wide by 1.25 inches (3.2cm) tall and weighs 183 grams. A very well made piece.
