Antique English Mappin & Webb Silver Plated Cocktail / Drinks Tray

Description

A very smart and elegant silver plated tray, long and slim with beautifully shaped handles either end.

Just back from our silversmiths workshop where it has been professionally cleaned and polished, restoring it to it's former glory with a lovely mirror finish.

The underside is fully marked for the world renowned English silversmith, Mappin & Webb Ltd. It is also marked "Princes Plate / Triple Deposit". This piece is lucky enough to have an English design registration number of 71552, this piece originally designed in 1887, late Victorian in era with a simple modernist style.

Excellent condition, measuring 18 1/2" x 6" x 1".
