A French 18 karat (18K) yellow gold, diamond and ruby love charm pendant with a rebus spelling out "Plus qu'hier, moins que demain" ("More than yesterday, less than tomorrow") - a line taken from the love poem written by Rosemonde Gerard to her husband (the author of Cyrano) in 1889.

The word "plus" is symbolised by a plus sign set with a rose-cut white diamond with a total approximate weight of 0.01 carats, and the word "moins" by a minus sign set with two rectangular cut synthetic rubies with a total carat weight of approximately 0.04 carats.

Signed A.Augis, stamped with the eagles head for French manufacture and partially stamped with Augis' makers mark.

Dimensions: 1.8 x 1.4 x 0.13 cm (not including jump ring)
