This very elegant and rather unusual solid silver mustard pot is dated London 1881 and was made by the renowned William Eaton. Of traditional oval form, with fluted sides and scalloped edges. The flat hinged cover with pierced shell finial. The back with an elegant leaf-capped reeded scroll handle. Fitted with the original blue glass liner and paired with a well matched silver mustard spoon by James Wintle dated London 1824. Very good silver gauge.
