ANTIQUE #SA1105127

An Edwardian Maritime Tavern Candlestick.

£345    $442    €417
An Edwardian tavern candlestick made from bronze and engraved with H.M.S Brittania Dartmouth 1869 - 1905.

This candlestick was probably once housed in a local tavern in dartmouth, devon, where H.M.S Brittania - a 120 gun training ship was used by the royal navy.

The candlestick has a small bell that would be rung when staff service was required for a top up!

The surface of the candlestick has a lovely patina and is in excellent condition.
