A superb English Art Deco solid sterling silver six slice toast rack. It is hallmarked for Sheffield 1939 with the maker being Brook & Son. It has been superbly designed, rather like a backbone, and is in super condition being free from dings splits and repairs, just tiny insurance numbers near the hallmark. It measures approx. 6 inches (15.8cm) long by 1.5 inches (4.2cm) wide by 2.25 inches (5.6cm) tall. The division gaps measure over 0.25 inch (1.2cm) wide and weighs 90 grams. A very good quality unusual piece.
