A Large 17th Century Panelled Oak Coffer

This lovely old piece could do with a bit of TLC hence the very tempting price, the chest has 4 deep moulded panels on the front and top

There are a few shrinkage cracks in the top panels, a bit of old woodworm damage to the back and feet it has large staple hinges

Inside the Coffer is clean, but all part of the character for anyone who prefers authenticity to perfection a lovely piece full of good honest character and crying out for a good coat of polish

The coffer is 56” long, 22” deep and 28” high
